The Greening of America's Biggest Brown Spot Begins

While we have helped put in five food forests on the Navajo Nation, this article gives a brief introduction to the largest one that is on 2200 acres in some of the most forlorn landscape in the US.
We will be tripling our efforts this year and are hoping to raise $10,000 to put in more food forests as well as high tunnels and chicken tractors on "The Rez" to help people provide high quality food in place of the convenience store fare that are the only food outlets many residents have within 100 miles.
